FAQ’s

• Is there an age limit to enter the event?

  Rock Lansing is all ages. Anyone wanting to purchase / consume alcohol must be 21+ with valid government ID. While no minimum age is strictly enforced, we highly recommend parents accompany minors. All attendees are required to have a ticket to enter regardless of age.

• Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

  No - Please have your emailed QR code ready at the entrance or bring your printed ticket.

• Where can I purchase tickets?

  • In Person: next to the entrance of the festival 12pm - 9pm day of the event.

• What is the refund policy?

  There are NO REFUNDS. All SALES ARE FINAL.

• What payments methods are accepted at the event?

  This is a cashless event for water / alcohol sales. We accept major credit / debit cards.

• What is included in my ticket?

  Admission includes all performances on both festival stages.

• Will food be available at the festival?

  We will have a variety of different food available for purchase at the festival.

• I lost my ticket confirmation email – how can I get the ticket(s) resent to me?

• What can I bring with me into the festival?

  We reserve the right to alter carry-in policies at any time.

  • Bags: will be restricted to small purses, fanny packs, and single pocket drawstring bags only. Bags may not exceed 14” x 11” x 5” and must have only one singular pocket or opening.
  • Chairs: Yes, bag chairs are permitted in designated areas within the festival grounds. We recommend the popular “bag” chairs, however, your “bag” chair is also subject to being searched. We ask that you do NOT bring high-back lawn chairs as they obstruct the view of your neighbors.
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets, Sheets, Towels
  • Non-professional cameras and smartphones are allowed in the venue. No other audio/video recording devices are allowed. We define professional cameras to be anything with a removable lens.
  • Sunscreen in non-aerosol containers
  • Strollers
  • Medication: If you have a medical condition that requires you to bring prescription medication in, please bring proper documentation with you to the security checkpoint at the main gate, all items will be subject to search. The festival does not have refrigeration available for medication. If you require a temperature-controlled environment for your medication, you are permitted to bring a personal cooler that fits our bag policy size guidelines.

• What am I not allowed to bring with me to the festival?

  • Bags that do no comply with the bag policy listed above - you will be asked to take your bag back to your vehicle if it does not comply!
  • Oversized umbrellas (golf umbrellas) or umbrellas with a pointed and/or metal tip
  • Aerosol containers (including sunscreen and personal beauty products)
  • Outside food or beverages (including alcohol)
  • Cans or glass bottles
  • Illegal and Illicit substances of any kind
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Selfie/GoPro sticks
  • Video equipment / recording devices
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Professional cameras that are not approved through the media credential process
  • Laser pointers
  • Skateboards / Inline Skates / Bicycles
  • Coaster wagons
  • Kites, Frisbees
  • Picnic baskets / coolers (exceptions may be made for medical use only)
  • Firearms, explosives, and weapons of any kind (including pocket knives and pepper spray)

• Can I re-enter the festival?

  No. Re-entry is not allowed.

• Security

  • We work closely with local authorities to ensure the safest possible experience. You may notice uniformed and plain-clothed security throughout our festival. They are there to keep you safe, do not hesitate to ask them for help if you need immediate assistance.
  • For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all fans are subject to a full and complete airport-style search prior to entry. This may include a full body pat-down and magnetometer screening before entry. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process. Screening of children will always take place with the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • Security will confiscate items if they are illegal. They will not hold any items until the festival is over. If you’re bringing prescription medication, make sure the name on the label matches the name on your ID, and our medical team will clear it at the entry gate.
